Janne Kromhout

Min Design is Janne Kromhout, maker and researcher of sartorial matters. At her Amsterdam based studio she explores possible other approaches of the system of set seasons, new collections, unconscious consumption, exploitation and waste that is currently mainstream in fashion. Min Design is therefore fascinated by the influence clothing has on society and what people wish to communicate with their garments and always aims at translating this into her designs. Emotional durability of every garments is strived for by creating pieces especially made for, and with its wearer.
